PRODUCT OVERVIEW
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Salty Captain Automotive Wheel Wash is engineered to tackle the unique iron particles and metallic dust that accumulate on wheels. The high-activity formula penetrates deep into the grime, lifting metallic iron particles so they can be rinsed away safely. For resellers, retailers, and automotive stores, it offers a high-margin product that solves one of the most difficult cleaning tasks for car enthusiasts and daily drivers.
For commercial detailing bays, tyre shops, and service centres, this wheel wash is a vital tool for improving workshop efficiency. The fast-acting surfactants cling to vertical surfaces, emulsifying dirt and brake dust for a rapid rinse. The formula is designed to turn purple as it reacts with iron deposits, providing a visual cue that the product is working. It is safe for all factory wheel finishes, including painted, clear-coated, chrome, and alloy, ensuring your staff can work with total confidence on any vehicle.

FAQ
FAQ
Why should our workshop use an acid-free wheel wash?
Acid-based cleaners can cause permanent etching or white spotting on sensitive alloys and clear coats if left on too long. Our acid-free formula provides a safe, worry-free clean for your staff, ensuring that expensive customer wheels are never damaged during the service.
Is it safe for resellers to recommend for aftermarket or custom wheels?
Yes. Because it is acid-free and non-caustic, it is the safest recommendation for customers with high-end factory or aftermarket wheels. It provides professional cleaning results without the risk of ruining delicate custom finishes.
How does the colour-change reaction help the user?
The formula is designed to turn purple as it reacts with iron particles in brake dust. This provides a visual cue for both workshop staff and retail customers, showing exactly where the product is working and when it is ready to be rinsed.
Can it be used on brake discs and suspension components?
Yes. It is safe for all the components located behind the wheel, including brake discs, pads, and rubber suspension bushings. It helps maintain the overall look of the wheel well area, which is a major value-add for professional detailing services.
Are SDS sheets available for workplace safety compliance?
Yes. Comprehensive Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are available for all volumes to ensure your workshop or retail site remains compliant with Australian workplace safety and environmental regulations.
